NBA: Al Jefferson to the Utah Jazz, deal finalized

The Utah Jazz acquired forward/center Al Jefferson from the Minnesota Timberwolves for center Kosta Koufos, the Memphis Grizzlies 2011 first round pick (protected) and a future protected first round pick. After losing Carlos Boozer to the Chicago Bulls the Utah Jazz went out and acquired Al Jefferson who will mold right into Carlos Boozer’s old role. The Timberwolves recently acquired Michael Beasley from the Miami Heat which paved the way for this deal. Beasley will now be the starting power forward with Al Jefferson gone.
