Lakers beat the Celtics in Game 1 102-89. The Lakers dominated the Celtics through 3 quarters of play and were up by 20 points going into the 4th quarter. Ron Artest played his part scoring 15 points. The Lakers are counting on Artest to keep it going and add some scoring to his already solid defense. Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol led the Lakers in scoring. Kobe scored 30 points, had 7 rebounds, and 6 assist. while Gasol had 23 points ,18 rebounds, and 3 blocks. The Lakers looked like the team that wanted it more in Game 1 and took it. The Celtics were led by Paul Pierce who had 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assist. Also a side note Rajon Rondo appeared to be hurt at one point which can be a concern because he was nagging with injuries in the Magic series. Tune into Game 2 on ABC at 8pm eastern on Sunday.
