A solid main event with big implications. And with the Edgar vs Henderson rematch being pushed back, I have a feeling the winner here will fight Pettis to be number one contender. But anyways, two of the very best lightweights will tangle, in what should be dynamite out of the gate. Both fighters, are comfortable wherever this one goes but Nate would rather keep it standing and knock you out. As for Miller, he will try and implement takedowns and try and ground and pound you.I really like this fight and both fighters but, I’m going with Nate Diaz to put away Jim Miller by TKO stoppage in Round 2. This could be FOTN based off what I expect to be a dynamite first round.
Josh Koscheck vs Johny Hendricks
An interesting co-main event in that I’m not quite sure what to expect. Koscheck sometimes delivers and sometimes is rather lackadaisical. If Koscheck is motivated here, we might be in for some fireworks. Revenge for his friend Jon Fitch, certainly could be some fuel to the fire. As for Hendricks, his climb up the welterweight division, has been nothing but fast. Knocking out Jon Fitch certainly boosted Hendricks, and taking out Koscheck will put him in the mix in the welterweight division.I’m not sure what to expect like I mentioned above, but I have a feeling Koscheck will pull this out by decision.
Rousimar Palhares vs Alan Belcher
A solid middleweight battle, and finally someone in awhile that can test Palhares. Belcher is no joke either, as he is very well rounded, and has the potential to be a top contender in the middleweight division. As for Palhares whom submits everyone it seems like, a win here will definitely grant him a top 5 contender in the middleweight division. Palhares and Belcher should make for an interesting bout as both fighters are comfortable wherever the fight goes, Palhares obviously more so on the ground.I think this goes the distance, and Belcher pulls the upset but this one should be a very fun fight.
Pat Barry vs Lavar Johnson
A great fight to start off the Main Event on Fox! Two Heavyweights that will definitely be swinging for the fences. This one, I’m certain, won’t last the full 3 rounds. I’m not even sure it will make it to Round 2. Both fighters are coming off big KO’s, between Lavar’s nasty uppercuts that put Joey Beltran to sleep, or Pat Barry’s vicious left hook that sent down Morecraft. This one should be fun! But, I’m going with Lavar Johnson here to put away Pat Barry early with a vicious Right hook.
