UFC: Quinton “Rampage” Jackson set to fight Lyoto Machida in November
Two former UFC Light Heavyweight champs are to face off in November to put themselves back into contention of a championship fight. Lyoto Machida (16-1, 8-1 UFC) recently lossed his first fight and his championship belt in a rematch with Maurico Rua (19-4, 3-2 UFC). Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (30-8, 5-2 UFC) is recently coming off a loss to Rashad Evans (15-1-1, 10-1-1 UFC). Rashad Evans is now to face off with Maurico Rua for the Belt. That’s how this fight got off, both are losers in previous fights, and both need to stay a top to get another opportunity of winning the belt back. Whoever loses will fall down the rankings, but whoever wins will probably be in the next championship fight. The bout is to take place in November, so probably at UFC 123.
