The Blue Raiders had a rather good December going 6-2, beating notables such as Mississippi, UAB, and Vanderbilt in the month. This squad is very unique in which they have great depth, as they have ten players averaging 3.8 points or more. They also combine to shoot for a Sun Belt Conference best 44.3%, and are 35.9% behind the perimeter. The Blue Raiders are 3-2 on the road, which could be a bit of a concern, but they are also already 3-0 in conference play. The Red Wolves have a 8-5 record, and were 4-3 in the month of December. They are very good home team though, posting a 5-1 record. But, are only 2-2 in conference play and got thrashed by a FIU team that the Blue Raiders battered recently. This would seem likely to be a trap game but if the Blue Raiders start out hot, the Red Wolves will not be able to play catch up. The Blue Raiders will go 4-0 in conference play, and tally their 12 win of the season. Lock it in.
