Frank Mir vs Brendan Schaub

Brendan Schaub wants to fight Mir, and seeing that there will not be Lesnar vs Mir III this makes sense. Schaub is a rising prospect in the UFC and definitely is looking for that worthy opponent fight. Mir on the other hand won a rather sloppy fight against an old Cro Cop. Mir needs to get another win to start putting himself back in contention. This could be an interesting main card fight.

Brock Lesnar vs Roy Nelson

The battle of the 265 pounders. Also a very interesting fight to see who’s weight benefits them more. This would definitely be the largest combined weight fight in the UFC probably. I personally would like to see this happen. Brock will be back and ready to take shots, and Roy will be ready to throw em following his bold loss.

Shane Carwin vs Ben Rothwell

I want to see this fight badly. A slugfest and an almost certain bout that ends in a knockout. Two warriors, and big guys with knockout power = an awesome fight.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs Mike Russow

“Big Nog” has been stopped in 2 of his last 3 fights and needs to get back on track. Russow is rising in the UFC after his comeback KO over Todd Duffee. Both are coming off injuries as well and should be good to go come early 2011.

Jon Madsen vs Cheick Kongo

Kongo is close to being cut from the UFC, and Madsen is surprising many by starting out 4-0. Madsen could really use a worthy opponent to show that his recent tear is no joke. Where Kongo needs an impressive win to stay in the UFC

Travis Browne vs Rob Broughton

Two guys who like to go for the Knockout. Browne is coming off a rather poor outing verse Kongo resulting in a draw, and Broughton is coming off an impressive submission win. This fight would be an early candidate for Knockout of the Night.

Mirko Cro Cop vs Christian Morecraft

“Cro Cop” is getting the point where he is considered washed up. I don’t think he is in the mix or close to after his loss to Frank Mir. I’d give him a lower tier opponent maybe to build his confidence and or motivation. As for Morecraft this could be a fight that puts him on the map.

Mark Hunt vs Chris Tuchscherer

Mark Hunt is guaranteed some fights in the UFC from his Pride contract. Chris Tuchscherer is on the fence of a job in the UFC. This is two fighters I consider at the bottom of the Heavyweight division. Both need a win badly.
