NBA: Jason Williams re-signs with the Magic, and Shaq close with Celtics

The Magic took away a potential suitor to join the Miami Superheat in guard Jason Williams. Jason Williams had been lobbying to join the Heat but decided to comeback and play for the Magic. Williams is set to sign a 2 years contract but the amount is unknown. Williams could also be an asset to lure in Chris Paul maybe during the season or next year pending what happens.

Shaq and the Celtics seem to be near a deal. With the Atlanta Hawks not making progressions it seems Shaq only has one option. That is in joining the Celtics. He would be an immediate impact as a replacement for Rasheed Wallace. Shaq also lobbied to play in Europe. Shaq still eyes the money though his play has declined.
