Prediction: Jon Jones by TKO (Punches) in the 2nd round

Why: Jon Jones besides the DQ loss to Matt Hamill has rolled through all his opponents. He can move around and avoid strikes, has a good takedown defense, a good wrestling background, and has an extremely dangerous ground striking game. He also has a 84.5 inch reach to Matyushenko 74 inch reach. Which will make the jab game effective vs Matyushenko. Matyushenko is a good fighter as well and since his UFC return is 2-0. He has a wrestling background and will look to take Jones down. With the reach advantage and Jones wrestling background, it will present too many problems for “The Janitor” and he will be left moping his own blood after the fight.

Co-Main Event

Middleweight bout: Mark Muñoz vs.  Yushin Okami

Prediction: Yushin Okami by KO (Knee) in the 3rd round

Why: Okami is one of the best middleweights, also is one of the most underrated. Okami has a good stand up game with his tough boxing. Okami is also one of the best when it comes down to controlling his opponent while on top. Okami also has a dangerous ground and pound, good wrestling, and is very experienced. Munoz is a solid wrestler, has a good chin, aggressive ground and pound, and has good instincts in a bad situation. Only way I see Munoz pull this off is to get Okami on his back. Munoz shouldn’t stand and bang despite a good chin, it is essential he tests Okami’s wrestling. I see him getting a takedown or 2 but will be worn out by round 3 leading to a failed takedown into a Knockout knee.
