The Chicago Bulls are looking over options on whether to sign G/F Tracy McGrady, who worked out for the them on Monday. In the workout the Tracy McGrady didn’t move fluid or have good conditioning which raises concerns for the Bulls. It isn’t completely out of the question they won’t sign him but at this point it seems like the Bulls will pass.

Houston Rockets C Yao Ming is considering retiring next season if his foot doesn’t fully recover.

The Phoenix Suns waived F Taylor Griffin. Taylor Griffin is the brother of rookie Blake Griffin.

The Minnesota Timberwolves expect to buyout Delonte West who they just acquired in a trade. West is due to make 4.6 million but the buyout option which is likely is 500,000. In the same deal the Minnesota Timberwolves will also either trade or buyout Sebastian Telfair who they acquired along with Delonte West. Telfair is due to make 2.7 million.

Atlanta Hawks G Jamaal Crawford is looking for a contract extension. Crawford is entering the final year of his contract that will pay him 10 million.

F/C Louis Amundson is on the radar of the Charlotte Bobcats, Golden State Warriors, and Toronto Raptors.

The Cleveland Cavaliers remain interested in adding G/F Shannon Brown but no deal has been made. Brown re-signing with the Lakers with the addition of Matt Barnes seems unlikely at this point.

Minnesota Timberwolves G Johnny Flynn is expected to miss 3-4 months as he will undergo hip surgery. He will miss training camp and probably will miss the start of the season.

Portland Trail Blazers G/F Rudy Fernandez is still looking for a trade and his agents are expected to meet with the Trail Blazers officials soon.

F Marqus Blakely signs with the Los Angeles Clippers (2 years, TBA)

The Boston Celtics are looking at bringing back G Eddie House who they traded to the Knicks at the 2009 trade deadline to acquire Nate Robinson.
