NBA: Chris Paul Wants out, plus News, Signings and Rumors

New Orleans Hornets G Chris Paul wants out, and is demanding a trade. He had stated before he wants the team to be built up to a championship team. With the New Orleans Hornets making few moves, Chris Paul doesn’t feel there headed in the right direction. Chris Paul stated that he’s not going to start the season as a New Orleans Hornet. He is interested in joining 3 teams, the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Orlando Magic. Whoever gets Chris Paul will have to take F/C Emeka Okafor’s contract as well.

G/F Tracy McGrady worked out with the Los Angeles Clippers but no deal has been made yet. The Chicago Bulls are interested but both teams are looking at his health as an issue. He has stated he also wants to be on the Miami Heat or Los Angeles Lakers as well

F Richard Jefferson re-signed with the San Antonio Spurs (4 years, 39M). Jefferson opted out of his contract with the Spurs this year and was set to make 15 million. Now he is back longer which he wanted even though he will receive less
