NBA News: Boris Diaw deal is a No Go, Tyson Chandler Traded to the Mavericks
Boris Diaw and Tyson Chandler were originally supposed to be going to the Toronto Raptors for Jose Calderon and Reggie Evans. Michael Jordan who is the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats re-visted the trade and decided he didn’t want to do it. The once agreed on deal became officially dead. Now Boris Diaw who has been tossed in trade talks all week remains with his original team the Charlotte Bobcats.
Before any talks could be revived the Dallas Mavericks made an offer and acquired Tyson Chandler. The official deal is that the Dallas Mavericks trade guard Matt Carroll, forward Eduardo Najera, and center Erick Dampier to the Charlotte Bobcats for center Tyson Chandler and center Alex Ajinca.
