Matt Serra and Chris Lytle on tap for Rematch at UFC 119

Matt “The Terror” Serra (11-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC) and Chris “Lights Out” Lytle (29-17-5 MMA, 8-9 UFC) will meet again in a rematch at UFC 119. There first fight took place on The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale in which Matt Serra won by split decision. In terms of location Chris Lytle will have the upper hand in which it is in his hometown Indianapolis. Matt Serra will look to ride his 1 fight win streak and get back into a contender spot. While Chris Lytle will look to extend his 3 fight win streak and climb the welterweight ranks hoping to get a shot at the belt. Matt Serra once had the belt when he shocked the world defeating George St. Pierre at UFC 69. Since then he has lost the belt back to George St. Pierre, and lost to Matt Hughes but showed hope when in his most recent fight knocked out Frank Trigg at UFC 109. Should be a battle in which the first time they met it was. Chris Lytle seeks revenge while Matt Serra seeks opportunity to be once again recognized. UFC 119 is in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be fought on September 25, 2010.
