The New York Yankees came close to having the most unimaginable rotation in baseball. The ace Cliff Lee was supposedly packing his bags for New York for Jesus Montero, David Adams, and a 3rd player. Instead the Texas Rangers upped the ante for Cliff Lee in the Seattle Mariners liking. The Texas Rangers included highly coveted prospect Justin Smoak, Blake Beavan, Josh Lueke, and Matthew Lawson. They got Ace Cliff Lee and Mark Lowe. Now the Texas Rangers who are on fire with a record of 50-35 and 5.5 games ahead of the Angels will be expected to win the AL West. The Texas Rangers become a scary good team with the addition of Cliff Lee.
