UFC 116 Results: Lesnar Submits Carwin in a Comeback Fight

UFC 116 Results: Lesnar Survives

Quick Write up: Awesome Fights, a small card went Big. All the Fights were entertaining, and there were many candidates for fight of the night. The matches that took home fight of the night were Stephen Bonnar vs. Kryzystof Soszynski and Chris Leben vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama. Big Props to Chris Leben who really is rising in the UFC Middleweight division, this is his 2nd win in 2 weeks to add. Shane Carwin gave Lesnar a beating but Lesnar was able to survive the round. Round 2 came and Lesnar seized the moment on a tired Carwin and submitted him. Brock Lesnar is truly the baddest man on the planet. Also great referring by Josh Rosenthal who could of called the fight like most refs besides Herb Dean would have done but referred it smart. GREAT FIGHTS, UFC 116 was awesome for sure.

UFC 116 Prediction Results: Well I was 17-15 coming in so I need to step up. I went 7-4 (Lesnar, Lytle, Sotiropoulos, Schaub, Grove, Harris, Roberts). Better than my recent predictions but not what I was hoping for. I actually hit one spot on with Kendall Grove by split decision, a boost to my confidence. So now I am 24-19 in UFC predictions. I’d be cut by now let’s just say.
